FG officially files Corruption charges against Farouk Lawan over Otedola Bribe

We all remember the subsidy bribery scandal, well guess what?...The Attorney-General  has Finally officially filed charges against Farouk Lawan and Mr. Emenalo Boniface for allegedly collecting bribe from Femi Otedola. The case has been assigned to Justice M.N. Oniyangi of the FCT High Court.

Sultry Nollywood actress, Rita Dominic has expressed her desire and intent to settle down sooner than you may expect. Rita, 37 stated that she would like to have a set of twins like some members of her family.

When asked about marriage, Rita said “My ideal family will be to marry a good man with a couple of children, one set of twins would be nice. We have twins on my mother’s side of the family so I am so drawn to twins… Marriage is a wonderful thing when you are with the one you love and care about. It is a personal journey and you cannot look at others to judge your own marriage”.

Bey admits she had some help in inauguration perfomance

Last night, Beyonce opened up Super Bowl halftime show press conference with an amazing live rendition of the national anthem. After been asked if she sang to a pre-recorded track during the Inauguration. Beyonce admitted she had some help and explained:

"Yes. I am a perfectionist. One thing about me is that I practice until my feet bleed. I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra. It was a live television show. A very emotional show for me. One of my proudest moments. Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper soundtrack, I did not feel comfortable taking a risk. It was about the president and the Inauguration and I wanted to make him proud so I decided to sing along to my pre-recorded track which is very common in the industry and I’m very proud of my performance."

4 billion naira vote for a non-existing office? - Senators Kick against it

Senators of the federal republic have kicked against a vote for N4 billion for the "office of the First Lady" which actually is not a recognized office in the constitution. The N4 billion vote in the 2013 budget of the FCT is for the First lady of Nigeria Dame Patience Jonathan's project of building a "Mission Office for the First Lady"

Senator Babajide Omoworare : The Women Development Centre is there for the use of the First Lady to do anything she wants to do and I'm not aware that there's a First Ladies Mission in the US where we copied the presidential system of government. There's no such building in South Africa or Ghana that is our neighbour

Senator Babjide Ojudu said: I'm worried and I hope that those of us who are leaders in this country do not take the youths for granted. How can we vote N4 billion for office of the First Lady? I just pray and hope that this does not get to the public because if it does, we are in trouble. Nigerians will not forgive us for appropriating money for an office that doesn't exist in Nigeria. Couple of days back the amazing Nigerian artist Kevin Okafor aka KO entered for the "Cork street open winter exhibition 2013" where 3 of his drawings: "Timeless", "Adam II" and Aisha II" where shortlisted...well guess what? HE WON,yhh KO did knock out everyone.

 Above is the sketch that won him the 

                                                                                     competition "timeless" and below it is the certificate.  

                                                                                         

He didn't only win that, he was also the runner up for best show award and a superb cash price alongside  

This humble artist has been showing of  his talents with just pencils and charcoal. No doubt, the gift of a man can make way for him.
